DIY espresso based coffee beverage with easy operation

How to set the volume for 1 cup & 2 cups? How to restore the settings?
- To set the volume for 1 cup & 2 cups, press 1 cup or 2 cups button for 3 seconds, then press it again to make espresso, when the needed volume reached, press the button the last time to complete the setting. Next time the machine will release water at the set volume.
- To restore default settings, press 1 cup button together with STEAM button for 3 seconds.
- Default volume: 1 cup=50ml 2 cups-100ml
- Volume set range: 1 cup from 25ml to 60ml 2 cups from 45ml to 120ml

The machine do not pump water, how to fix it?
- The pipe inside is empty, the pump could not draw the water from the the water tank due to insufficient air pressure, release some hot water will fix this issue.
- This may happen when it is not be used for long, or worked with empty water tank.

Water came out from the steam wand in milk frothing, why?
- In STEAM mode, turn the knob will release steam.
- When not in STEAM mode, turn the knob will release hot water.
- Press STEAM button to enter STEAM mode, STEAM button light is ON and 1 cup/2 cups button lights are OFF

3 button lights keep flashing, beeps and no water came out. How to fix it?
- It is a warning of the knob is not in OFF position when turn on the espresso machine, turn it to the OFF position will fix it.
- Check if the knob is in OFF position before turning on the machine.
Tips for using Mecity espresso machine
1.Wipe the steam wand immediately after milk frothing make the cleaning much easier
2.Too fine ground coffee may lead to over pressure
3.It is normal that the dispenser releases a few drops of water in frothing
4.Use 1-cup filter when you need single shot only, otherwise water remains in the funnel
